A unique therapy to address a variety of conditions.
Give your brain some space, and see what kind of healing follows. This unique decompression of cranial bones is exceptionally gentle, and yet often most effective for changing the root nervous system patterns that hold tension.
Because craniosacral work uses such a light touch – often no more pressure than the weight of a nickel – it’s a especially good fit if deep tissue massage feels like too much right now, if you’re recovering from an injury, or if you’ve tried harder approaches without lasting relief. Many clients describe sessions as quietly profound: very little seems to be happening on the outside, while a great deal shifts underneath.

Imagine massage with all its lovely variety: soft, looping touch that lulls you half to sleep, deep tissue that unlocks a stiff joint, kneading into that shoulder until the nap takes you. And then also that massage brought a toolbox, and a magic wand. Every session blends traditional Swedish massage technique with energy work and osteopathic-informed methods. You can let me know when you arrive how much you’d like to mix other techniques into your massage that day, or you can let me see what’s going on and freestyle from there.

Tips are welcome but not expected. I do not accept insurance, but I can provide receipts and superbills that your insurance may reimburse. Depending on your plan, it may be a good idea to get a referral with a diagnostic code from your doctor or chiropractor to add to the superbill to increase the ease of reimbursement.

Well-being is my jam. For almost two decades now, I’ve been adding to my education and my understanding of health, the body, and the spirit. My foundational training includes Swedish massage, deep tissue, Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi massage, medical massage, and aromatherapy. I specialize in gentle bodywork that comes from the osteopathic medical approach: craniosacral therapy, Polarity therapy, and Zero Balancing. My craniosacral teacher was also an acupuncturist, and I have learned a great deal from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, and Japanese energy work that I incorporate in the forms of acupressure, Jin Shin Jitsu, and Reiki. Beyond that, there are techniques I’ve learned from experience that don’t even have names. It’s incredible to get to be there for the best part of people’s day, in a field where the opportunity to keep learning is endless, where I don’t have to sit at a desk or wear shoes. I feel very blessed, y’all.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
No. I don’t bill insurance directly, but I can provide receipts and superbills that your insurance may reimburse. A referral with a diagnostic code from your doctor or chiropractor can make reimbursement easier, depending on your plan. (Plans are so varied and complex that I can’t speak to what your plan requires or what level of reimbursement they will provide.)
Do you accept HSA/FSA cards for payment?
Yes! I love them. Use them just like any other card. (It is possible that not all plans and accounts cover massage, so please check to be sure, but so far I have never had a problem.)
What’s the difference between massage and craniosacral therapy?
They’re mostly quite different. Massage works directly with soft tissue through varying pressure and technique, and for the most part it’s obvious how it works. Craniosacral therapy is much gentler, focused on the nervous system itself, with a very light-touch approach, and I’m not sure if any of us 100% know how and why it works so well. An all-craniosacral session is received with clothes on, and is appropriate for people with circulatory problems who cannot receive massage. That said, they complement each other beautifully. If you would like to blend both in one session, please choose the “holistic massage” option and let me know in our introduction that you would like craniosacral therapy too.
Is my session confidential?
Yes. I abide by HIPAA regulations in my practice.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes – you can select them from the list of options on the left when you go to my booking page, or buy them in person at your next appointment. Gift cards you buy are linked to your account, so if they don’t work out as a gift, you’re welcome to give them to a different person or redeem them for your own session.
